Lions vs South Africa kick-off time, TV and live stream info for Saturday’s first Test

The British and Irish Lions will look to lay down an early marker when they face South Africa in the first of three massive Test matches.

Warren Gatland’s side take on the Springboks on Saturday at Cape Town Stadium.

They have lost just once on their tour so far, that coming against a South Africa ‘A’ side that proved their physical strength against the Lions.

Gatland has opted for experience in his starting XV for the opening Test, with Alun Wyn Jones returning from injury to skipper the side.

When and where is the first Test?

The opening Test is on Saturday, July 24 at Cape Town Stadium.

What time is kick-off?

The game kicks off at 5pm UK time.

What TV channel is it on?

The game is being shown live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Sky Sports subscribers can live stream the game via the Sky Go app or online.
